Description: Charles G. Covert House - (aka Underhill House)The house was located about 1/4 of a mile south of Borden Avenue (aka Newtown Ave.), on the west side of 58th Street (former Betts Ave., former Covert Ave.) 300 feet back from the road, about halfway between Borden Avenue and Maspeth Avenue. Heirs of John Denman Sold this Farm to Richard Hallett in 1717 and from Hallett the farm descended to the Coverts.
