Description: A formal portrait of the Charles Garretson family, apparently taken in Jacob F. Wieners' Flushing studio. Charles Garretson was a druggist whose pharmacy was located below the photographer's second-floor studio. He was the son of Garret R. Garretson, who ran a large seed business in Flushing. It is not known which of the three men in this portrait is Charles; as he died at age 63 in 1908, he would have been about 52 years old at the time of the photograph.
