Murry Hill 3 3737 - Background Material on Charles Siegel: A member of the New York Bar and a graduate of Columbia Law School, Mr. Siegel is directing editor of the Research Institute of American's New York and Washington legal Staffs. Articles by Mr. Siegel have been published in Barron's, Forbes, and other business and legal periodicals. During the war Mr. Siegel served as foreign financial advisor to the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Association. Early in 1946 he accompanied Leo M. Cherne, Executive Secretary of the Research Institute, to Tokyo at the request of General MacArthur, to revise the Japanese fiscal system for presentation to the Diet. Mr. Siegel is in demand as a speaker before leading businessmen's groups, as well as professional and educational organizations.
