Description: General Ebenezer Stevens house.; hand written on back of print: Albert Gallatin former Secretary of the Treasury died here in 1849. The estate was known as Mount Napoleon or Mount Bonapatre General Stevens House The house is the rear formed north wing when the homestead stood upon a sand bluff. removed to a nearby site, the sand bluff on the old site was dug away. Temple Street near Boulevard Astoria LIC 1922
