Description: Gjeva Celaj who was born and raised in Peja, Kosovo, immigrated to the US in June 1, 1987. In that time, she has had four children, lost a husband, become extremely independent, and gotten remarried. The food in her family has slightly changed into ordering pizza once in a while and other fast foods. However, she makes an effort to prepare traditional Kosovo meals at home when she has the time.
