Goldsmith Family of Southold Town Miscellaneous Documents

Description: There are only ten documents in this extremely small collection. Six of these are dated 1825; one for 1824, one for 1859 and two undated but probably 1824-1825. Names of the Goldsmiths mentioned in the documents are Daniel, Jeremiah, Martin and Joshua Reeve. Several of the documents are wills of Daniel Goldsmith, most of which apparently are copies. One of these has a page missing. It is not clear why there are so many for one individual, but perhaps these were contemporary copies and perhaps of slightly different wording since they were all written at approximately the same time.
