Description: A large group of men and women of varying ages pose for a group portrait inside the auditorium of the Poppenhusen Institute. Most are dressed in what appear to be costumes of a farmer or pioneer theme; the women wear large bonnets and gingham, the men sport straw hats and calico neck kerchiefs. One young lady, seated in the front row at left, holds a tobacco pipe in her mouth. Members of the group hold pennants reading "Bellevue" and "SLC."
