Description: EMT, Odelmo Paltooram, worked alongside National Guardsmen and other first responders in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. This was Odelmo's view from the Guardsmen's vehicle on the ride between sites where they provided help to residents. The yellow hoses floating in the water were connected to pumps that were on for days after the storm, sending water back into the ocean.
