Description: Howard House - (Mrs. Howard House, aka Thompson House, aka Odekirk House, aka old Presbyterian Parsonage) Rear view of the Mrs. Howard House, located on the south side of Queens Boulevard, about three blocks east of Woodhaven Ave. (old No. 234 Queens Blvd.) The town of Newtown purchased it 1695 for a Presbyterian Parsonage and sold it in 1817 to Mr. Bacon, father-in-law of Robert Thompson, it was owned by the Howard family in the early 1900's. The house was moved to a new site at Queens Blvd. and 62nd Avenue and was purchased by Rego Park Construction Co. for use as an office; it was torn down in April 1930.
