Description: Jay Williams stands here on the front porch of the Kingsland Homestead, home of the Queens Historical Society, on the day of his interview for the Queens Memory. In the interview, Mr. Williams shares recollections of his personal history growing up in Flushing as well as stories of his African American and American Indian ancestors settling in the area in the late 1800's.
