Essentially, the collection consists of some of the papers of Thomas Lester, Sr. and Thomas Lester, Jr., with small portions consisting of the papers of Mary Lester, and the Albertson Family. The collection was purchased for an unspecified sum from the Weathervane Curio Shop In October, 1938. It totals about 1 cubic foot consisting of some 440 individual documents, covering the years ca 1800-1870.
