Description: A view of the Manhattan Elevated Railway's locomotive #219, built 1887 at New York Locomotive Works, Rome, NY, and rebuilt 1891 by the Manhattan Elevated Railway. The photograph appears to show the locomotive in a railroad scrap yard. Possibly, the photograph was taken after the elevated lines were converted to electrical power and locomotives were no longer needed.; hand written on reverse of print: Print from W.A.
