Description: Eventually becoming an artist and musician, Marilyn Reichstein grew up taking painting and music lessons. Through the Girl Scouts she submitted paintings to art contests, and won prizes. Marilyn reviews items from her scrapbook related to the Washington Square Art Exhibit when Elizabeth Agnes Impellitteri (wife of Vincent Impellitteri, Mayor of New York City from 1950-1953), presented her with a first place prize.
