[A note from Bibi Khan who conducted an interview with Mr. Khan for the Queens Memory Project as part of a Sociology research methods course at Queens College, "At the time of his interview, Mr. Khan had lived in Queens Village for sixteen years. His ancestors originated from India, like many Guyanese. Mr. Khan is a retired elementary school principal who lives by himself. Two years before the interview, his wife of many years died, leaving him to care for himself. Mr. Khan is an active member of his church, Redeemer Lutheran Church. He is a well-liked and respected member of his community. He is one of the senior members of MAG (Ministries among Guyanese).
