Description: Nettie and Lisa Stewart describe the foreign students (including Fidel Castro's son and daughter) who attended P.S. 20 John Bowne Elementary School in the 1960's. Lisa says classes were segregated with white students in one track and American students of color together with all foreign students in another track. Lisa tells a story about her Italian friend's family all learning (sometimes inappropriate) English via an uncle who was working as a Longshoreman.
