Description: Coe's House (aka Coe's Mill, aka Titus House) - The House and mill were built around 1655 on the west side of Colonial Ave. (formerly North Hempstead Turnpike, aka Old Mill Rd.), between Waldron St. and Van Doren, on what was Horse Brook (aka Mill Creek). Unidentified boy on steps, he may be the son of Mrs. Kenney who was an occupant around 1922. The house was owned by the Coe Family, David Titus, Daniel Rapelye, Carll, Cipperley, and Thomas Smith, 1650s-1920's. It was torn down by September 1930. [note car in front]
