Description: Metropolitan Avenue - View of the rear of the W. Powell House on the south side of Metropolitan Ave., west of Mt. Olivet Crescent (W. Powell, 1860; H. Homeyer 1873, 1891), the house was torn down in 1923. The houses on the far left on the north side of Metropolitan Ave. both belonged to Robert Burroughs at one time; the one on the left is now the site of 65-07 Metropolitan Ave. The house with Peak Roof was Thomas Marshall, then Burroughs and was Dloughy in 1923, now the site of 65-11 Metropolitan Ave.
