Description: Myrtle Avenue - View west along Myrtle Ave. from 65th St. toward the corner of Myrtle and Cypress Hills St. The two story wood frame building at the SW corner of Cypress Hills St. was the former Capt. Louis Dohling's Roadhouse, he ran saloons along the Myrtle Ave. and Plank Rd. in Bushwick after the Civil War (at Myrtle Ave. Park and Later near Greene Ave.), and eventually Moved to Glendale. Two buildings west is the Belvidere Theatre (the building is still there 2017). Photo taken April 1923.
