Description: Peebles House - (Pebbles House?) View of the west side of the shingled frame house that stood near the Alburtis House on south side of Borden Avenue (aka Newtown Ave., now under Queens Midtown Expressway) east of 50th Street; owned by the Pebbles Family in 1852/1860, and Calvary Cemetery in 1891/ 1923, the houses were raised in 1927 becoming a maintenance yard for the cemetery. Photograph taken March 1923.
