Description: Rapelye House - (Rapalje House) Located west of Grand Avenue on what became the SW corner of Calamus Avenue and Ankener Avenue. Owned at one time by Jeromus Rapalje (Rapelye), then J. Gray in 1873 - 1891; Fred Bushing occupied the house in 1923, he vacated the unpainted shingled farmhouse and renovated in February 1924. This photograph was taken in March 1923; the house was demolished in 1932.
