Description: Remsen House - View of the north end of the Abraham Remsen House (built 1700), on the east side of Trotting Course Lane opposite Cooper Ave., about 400 feet north of Metropolitan Ave. The small frame building at left is the summer kitchen, and was built possibly in the early 19th Century, it appears to be clapboard construction similar to the north extension on the house, and is not shingled like the old (main) portion of the house. The house was torn down by Aug. 1925.
