Description: Woodward House - Built by Joseph Woodward (Or Woodard). Was located at 1891 Flushing Ave., west side, about 60 feet south of Woodward Ave. The Schenck family owned the land earlier, after Woodward, James Schoonmaker owned in the 1840's, his estate 1852, N. Hausmann 1869 - 1873, and then Conrad Kromer & Family owned 1878-1934. It was torn down May 1938.
