Description: Norma Lee was a nurse in Manhattan's Doctors Hospital, which used to stand across the street from Gracie Mansion on East End Avenue at 87th Street. She laughingly describes her "marathon" commute to the hospital from her home in Laurelton, Queens. Doctors Hospital offered many services and amenities to hospital staff when she worked there.
