Description: Paul talks about daily family routines in his household growing up. His mom would come home around 3:00 pm to start cooking and his dad and grandparents all ate dinner together. He remembers this being common in the neighborhood. Many families had multiple generations living together and many of the grandparents were immigrants. Paul believes this lifestyle brought stability to the neighborhood. This was one of the reasons he remained in Ridgewood his whole life.
