Description: Mr. Hourahan relates that he used to think Flushing was a predominantly Jewish area, since everyone he knew there was Jewish. He says people come to Flushing from other areas as well, relating a story of one person who comes from Howard Beach in Brooklyn because there is no reform synagogue anywhere near there. center.
