Description: Window of The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Queens building on the corner of Ash Avenue and 149th Street. One of the church was founders was the Black American inventor, Lewis Latimer, who helped organize it in 1905, through its incorporation in 1908 and stayed active with the congregation until his death at age 80 in 1928. The Church shuttered in 2022.; The images were taken by Francie Scanlon on the 175th Arrival Anniversary (9/4/2023) of Lewis Howard Latimer.
