Description: Allan Berlind writes about his childhood in Sunnyside, Queens. He lived at 41-41 46th Street until he was about 6, and describes his memories of the neighborhood, going to school at P. S. 150, his jewish grandparents, and baseball. Included are photographs of Allan and his sister Binnie, Allan and his friend Myra, and his first grade class of 1948 - 49, as well as poems by himself and two first grade classmates.
