7 receipted bills for school tax paid by Mr. Hewlett to the Union Free School District No. 1 of the Town of Flushing. These are dated 1895-1897.

1 receipted bill for school tax similar to the above. However, this bill is made out to a Mr. James McArthur of Little Neck, and not to Hewlett, dated 1898.

1 Certified Copy Judgment in a case involving John S. Randall, Plaintiff, against Charles Hewlett, Defendant, filed Apr 6, 1897.

1 receipted bill of the New York City Dept. of Finance for having paid property taxes for 1899. Though this bill is actually made out to a Mr. Henry Baker of Little Neck, the name "Hewlett and Van Nostrand” appears below it.
