Description: A bridge is installed to carry the Long Island Rail Road over Brookside Avenue in Freeport, as part of the Baldwin-Freeport grade crossing elimination project, scheduled to be completed the next year. In the foreground are temporary tracks being used by the railroad while the work is in progress. The large brick structure in the background left is the Milburn Pumping Station, also known as the Brooklyn Waterworks.
