Description: On the morning after Hurricane Sandy, a resident inspects the damage on Rockaway Beach Boulevard While the Medical Center still stands, the building next door has collapsed. This photo is by EMT, Odelmo Paltooram, who worked alongside National Guardsmen and other first responders in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. This was Odelmo's view from the Guardsmen's vehicle on the ride between sites where they provided help to residents.
