Description: Jimmy Van Bramer is a councilmember of the 26th district in Queens. "My job is not to be aloof and cold and to run away from the people I asked to give me this job," says Jimmy, who represents Astoria, Woodside, Long Island City, Maspeth and Sunnyside, and who has lived in our neighborhood for the past seven years. "My job is to be friendly, open and accessible."
