Description: A brass band performs while marching west on High Street (now 14th Avenue) in a fire company parade. The occasion for the parade is not known. It may have been the large parade held during the 1909 convention of the Southern New York Volunteer Firemen's Association, which was held at Donnelly's Hotel in College Point, October 5th through October 7th of that year. Jacob F. Wieners was ex-Assistant Chief of the College Point Fire Department at that time, and acted as Chairman of the Prize Committee and Aide to the Grand Marshal for that event.
