Description: Two men stand in the doorway, over which the words "Dining Hall" are painted on the building's siding. A water tank is seen at right. Joseph Witzel's Point View Island was a large and popular resort and amusement park on what is now Tallman Island on Long Island Sound, just west of the present-day Whitestone Bridge.
