Description: A truck drives along the Grove Street spur of the Long Island Rail Road in this southwesterly view over the Mott Street crossing. Partly seen at far left is a two-story brick commercial building housing Arnold's Restaurant, the brokerage offices of Morris & Smith, and offices of Vandewater and Lapp, City Surveyors. Billboards at left advertise Chesterfield cigarettes and the 1930 motion pictures "Leathernecking" and "Border Legion". Beyond the billboards can be seen a Mullen & Buckley Manufacturing Company building, and in the far center distance, on the spur, is the Burns Brothers Coal Company. A view of the same location, but looking due south along Mott Street, can be seen in record eer-000003
