Description: A view of the excursion steamer "Mary Powell" on the Hudson River. Built in 1861 by M.S. Allison, the ship was known for its style, speed and good service, earning it the nickname "Queen of the Hudson." It ran between New York City and Rondout Creek at Kingston, New York for more than 50 years, and was finally broken up in Kingston in 1923.
