Green Family of Flushing Miscellaneous Correspondence

Description: With one exception, letters are addressed either to Miss Elizabeth Green, or, less frequently, Mrs. Mary Green, probably Elizabeth's mother. The exception is a letter addressed to Timothy Green, and this is from his wife (Levinia?), a name which may be a substitute for Mary (Timothy evidently sometimes signed himself Aristus). Four letters are undated, and these will be found at the end of the calendar. Many letters are in poor condition and are rather difficult to read. No one theme appears to pervade them, though by and large family matters are discussed.
