Description: This collection consists simply of drafts, proof sheets, printer’s galleys or similar type items. As far as we can determine, these pertain to only two of his works, that is, STORIES OF OLD LONG ISLAND, and PIPE DREAMS AND TWILIGHT TALES. All told, there are several hundred sheets. The actual drafts are virtually all handwritten in pencil. Some pages which were originally grouped together will now be found clipped together.
