Description: The collection consists of about 350 documents, the majority being dated during the middle and latter parts of the 19th century. These documents include receipts, bills, real estate indentures, and related items, all of which pertain to some of Mrs. Young's ancestors, more specifically to the Mott and Jennings families, and to a lesser extent to the Carroll, Norton and other families. These families were all residents of the Far Rockaway area. One of two documents in the collection give very brief genealogical lines indicating how the families were interrelated by marriage. The collection consists almost exclusively of loose documents, and there are no bound volumes of any consequence. It measures approximately i cubic foot in volume.
