Description: Ashini describes how her mom tells her she can not participate in certain activities and is cautionary when Ashini goes to unfamiliar places because she is a girl . As a kid she was not interested in dolls and games girls played. She mostly hung out with boys, especially since the majority of people in her building of her own culture were boys.
