She says the house depicted in the postcard is "2 blocks from our home." Also says "Sorry they have no books on Flushing hence the card ..."; [Postmarked Flushing N.Y. September 10, 1920] Mrs. Bessie Atwood 213 Maple St. Bennington Vermont. This is 2 blocks from my home. Dear Bessie! Sorry they have no books on Flushing, so hence the card. Kind regards to your husband and little Atwood’s! Love from Beatrice
