Printed on Reverse: The Story of Kanebo Rugs of Silk.; Hand-written on the reverse: "Dear Rose, I went to World's Fair. It's grand, don't miss it. Guess who I saw at the Fair. Your boyfriend's sister, the one that's [a] pharmacist. Drop me a card. Getting lonesome for some home news. My father is coming home Sunday and I will come home the week after." It is postmarked July 29, 1939, from Staten Island, N.Y.
