Description: Shavetta Gupta discusses how she decided to send her children to the St. Joseph Catholic Academy in Long Island City, Queens. Her husband was never comfortable with sending their son and daughter to public schools because of bad experiences he had with public school students. Shavetta's children learn of different religions in Catholic school, but understand that their family follows the Hindu religion. Shavetta and her husband primarily want their children to attain the best education possible.
