Description: Joginder Paul Jindal first lived in Corona, then Astoria after he immigrated to the U.S. and currently lives in Sunnyside. He mentions that sometimes as he is walking in Sunnyside, he bumps into Indian or Punjabi people. He can recognize them by the turban they wear. Sometimes if they know Bengali or Hindi, they can still communicate and they can relate to one another. He and his wife have made friendships with about 20 families in Sunnyside by attending the parks there.
