Description: Mary Kaiser recalls how her family could not have meat on Wednesdays during World War II, because of food rationing. She did a lot of overtime work to make extra money to buy food, and remembers the book of ration stamps. Her father used buy a cup of tea, but would save the sugar and bring it home.
