Description: Dr. Uma Mysorekar practiced for over 30 years and had offices in Flushing and Elmhurst, Queens. She decided to leave her practice in order to give back to the community. She had been involved with the Ganesh Temple since the beginning of its inception as a member and volunteer, and as she gradually phased out her practice between, she became more actively involved. Mysorekar discusses her beliefs about the connection between self-fulfillment, spirituality and volunteering in the community.
