Description: Donald Hirschhorn recalls his excitement at attending the 1939 World's Fair as a child. The Fair, held in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, featured exhibits of many futuristic technologies. He describes getting free food samples at the Heinz Building, while his wife Sandy remembers Elsie the Cow and the automatic milking machine.
