Description: Letter from the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York to Marilyn Reichstein, nee Albin, informing her that her painting "Still Life" was selected as one of 50 to be exhibited at the Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit in 1953. At a ceremony on May 23rd, Reichstein was awarded first prize in the 12-14 year age group for oil painting. The letter was part of Reichstein's childhood scrapbook; she went on to become a professional graphic designer.
