Description: Andrew Correa, a resident of Flushing, Queens since 1998 was born and raised in the South Bronx with his parents and four siblings. Once he married Luz Garcia, they moved to Queens seeking a better life for their children. In this interview, Andrew discusses his food history, and cultural traditions involving food in the Puerto Rican tradition. He brings us into his past with different cultures of foods, from when he was in the army, a short stint as a vegetarian and a few culturally diverse meals he had the week of the interview. Andrew has a diverse food sense, but always comes back to his traditional Puerto Rican heritage.
