Description: Ysmeria identifies neither as American or Dominican. She was born in the United States, where she believes she is considered Dominican rather than an American. This is well contrasted to how she would be considered more American or "Gringa" by people in the Dominican Republic. This labeling happens even though she was born in the Dominican Republic and her both of her parents are Dominicans. Recorded in Spanish.
