Description: Airports - LaGuardia Airport - Three Hangars and the Grand Central Parkway from East Elmhurst - April 28, 1939; Typed on back [Three of the six land plane hangars built by the WPA at the North Beach Airport, the Grand Central Parkway in the foreground. Each of the hangars is 350 feet wide by 165 feet deep, in addition to the wings occupied by machine shops and offices. The small white building in the foreground is a temporary structure housing the WPA engineering offices on the project.
